You can find businesses near a place and bring them into a new table.
How do I open it?
Go to Home.
Click Find leads, then Local Businesses.
A window called Find local businesses opens. It says "Search for businesses near a specific location with customizable radius."
What do I set?
Location: type a place in the box on the map. The hint reads "Location (e.g. 'San Francisco')". Use the + and - buttons to zoom.
Radius: drag the slider under the map. It shows the distance, for example "Radius: 1 km / 0.62 miles". A circle on the map shows the area.
Search Type: choose Business Type or Text Search. With Business Type, open the Business Type menu ("Select business type") and pick one.
Max. number of results (10-700): the box shows 100 when the window opens.
Which enrichments can I add?
Under Add Enrichments, both of these are ticked when the window opens:
Scrape website content
Extract email address from the website content
Untick any you do not want.
What does it cost?
The bottom of the window shows Estimated Cost. The buttons are Create Table and Create & Run 10 rows.
Estimated Cost reads $0.0026 at 20 and 100 results, $0.0052 at 200 results and $0.02 at 700 results. It is not a price per result, and the line has no unit text such as "per result" or "total".
Good to know
Read the estimate before you click a button that runs rows.
After the table opens, check Auto-run in the toolbar before you add paid columns.
