These are the main words you will see in Loopster, explained in plain words. Where an article covers a word, it is linked.
What do the table words mean?
Workbook: holds your tables, and its table tabs sit at the bottom of the screen. See Loopster basics: workbooks, tables, columns and rows.
Table: a grid of rows and columns inside a workbook.
Column: holds one detail about every row, and you add one with Add column.
Row: one record, such as one company.
What do the running and cost words mean?
Auto-run: a table setting. When it is Off, new rows and values will not run on their own, so you trigger them from a column or row. See Run columns safely: Auto-run, test one row, then run the rest.
Wallet: real dollars, not credits, that pay for premium providers (data, signals and AI) at the price shown before anything runs. See Your wallet and keeping spend under control.
What do the data words mean?
Enrichment: a column that fills in data about each row, such as Company profile. See Add your first enrichment.
Waterfall: runs providers one after another until one finds an answer it keeps. See Find people's contact details with waterfalls.
Connection: an account your workspace can run on, either one Loopster provides or one you connect. See Connections: Loopster-provided accounts and your own.
What do the reuse and testing words mean?
Function: a set of enrichment steps you can call from any table as a single column. See Functions and Sandbox Mode.
Sandbox Mode: a button in the table toolbar for trying changes first. If you exit, every change you have not published is discarded and your table goes back to normal. See Functions and Sandbox Mode.
Loopgent: a saved AI setup that you can reuse, and edits to it apply to every column using it. See Save and reuse AI setups with Loopgents.
Good to know
A new table can start with Auto-run on or off, so check it on every table.
Sandbox Mode on a table and a function's editor are separate things.
Keys for using Loopster from other tools are in Loopster API, not in Connections.
Many enrichments show a cost label in the panel, such as Free or a price per row.
