Add your first enrichment

Add the free Company profile enrichment to a table, map its input, and run it.

Written by Umer Ishaq

An enrichment fills a new column with data about each row. In this article you add Company profile, a free enrichment, to a table of companies.

What do I need before I start?

A table with a column that holds a company website or domain. In the example, the table has five companies (Stripe, Figma, Canva, Shopify and Monzo) and a Company Domain column.

How do I add Company profile?

  1. Click Add column.

  2. Click Add enrichment. A panel opens on the right.

  3. Stay on the For you tab. Under Free with Loopster Data, find Company profile. It is marked Free.

  4. Click Company profile.

The Add column panel open on the right of a table. It has a search box, the tabs For you, Import, Enrich, Tools, Functions and Export, and a Suggested list. Under Free with Loopster Data, the Company profile card, marked Free, is outlined in red.

The panel also has a search box (Search data points, tools, providers…) and the tabs For you, Import, Enrich, Tools, Functions and Export. Use them if you want something other than the suggestions.

How do I tell it which column to use?

Company profile needs one input, Company Website or LinkedIn URL. It is required.

  1. Click the field.

  2. Press /. A list of your table's columns opens.

  3. Pick Company Domain.

The field now shows a tag for that column. The input accepts a website, a domain, or a LinkedIn company page. A personal LinkedIn profile will not work.

The suggestion card says "from Company Domain", but the input is not filled in for you. You need to map it yourself. For more, see the article on mapping an enrichment's inputs.

How do I run it?

  1. Click Add column and run 5 rows. The number matches the rows in your table.

  2. Wait for the results. Each row gets a company profile.

The footer of the panel shows Free for Company profile.

What did it find?

Each result cell holds many fields. To see them, select a cell and press Enter. You will see fields such as Name, Website, Description, Company Headline, Industry, Company Type, Founded Year, Employee Count and Employee Range. Press Esc to close.

To give a field its own column, see the article on putting a result's fields into their own columns.

Good to know

  • Company profile is a free lookup with Loopster Data.

  • If Loopster Data has no match for a domain, the cell says No company found.

  • The Add column menu also has Use AI, Functions, Waterfall, Formula and Merge columns.
