Follow five steps to go from nothing to a table with a free enrichment filled in. Each step links to a short article with the details.
What do I need first?
You need a table with a column that holds a company website or domain. Step 1 shows you how to get one. To learn the layout first, read Loopster basics: workbooks, tables, columns and rows.
How do I get from nothing to a result?
Get rows into a table. On Home, click Blank Table to open an empty table at once. In a blank table, double-click a cell, type a domain and press Enter. Or click Import data, then Import CSV / XLSX, to make a table from a file. See Import a CSV or Excel file and Find companies and add them to a table.
Check Auto-run. It is on the left of the table toolbar. When it is Off, new rows and values do not run on their own. A new table can start with Auto-run on or off, so check every table. See Run columns safely: Auto-run, test one row, then run the rest.
Add an enrichment. Click Add column, then Add enrichment. Under Free with Loopster Data, click Company profile. See Add your first enrichment.
Map its input. Company profile needs Company Website or LinkedIn URL. Check that this field holds your domain column. If it is empty, click the field, press
/, and pick your domain column from the list. Always pick a column from the list. See Map an enrichment's inputs.Test one row, then run the rest. Open the arrow next to the main button and choose Add column without running. Click the play button on one row. If the result looks right, click the play button on the column header and choose the Run all N empty rows option, where N is the number of empty rows. See Run columns safely: Auto-run, test one row, then run the rest.
What does it cost?
Company profile is marked Free, and the panel footer shows Free too. In the Run column dialog, a free column says Spends nothing from your wallet. A paid column shows Maximum cost instead. Check that line before you run anything paid. See Your wallet and keeping spend under control.
Good to know
If Loopster Data has no match for a row, the cell says No company found.
Each result cell holds many fields. To turn one into its own column, see Put a result's fields into their own columns.
If you close the Run column dialog with the X, nothing runs.
The Add column menu also has Use AI, Functions, Waterfall, Formula and Merge columns.
