Put a result's fields into their own columns

Open a result cell, pick a field, and add it as its own column.

Some enrichments, such as Company profile, put many fields into one cell. You can turn any of those fields into its own column. Here you do that for Industry and Founded Year.

What do I need before I start?

A column that has already run, such as Company profile with results in its rows. See the article on adding your first enrichment.

How do I see the fields in a cell?

  1. Select a result cell.

  2. Press Enter. You can also double-click the cell.

A panel opens. It lists each field with its value, for example Name, Website, Description, Industry, Company Type, Founded Year, Employee Count and Employee Range. Press Esc to close it.

How do I give a field its own column?

  1. Open a result cell as above.

  2. Hover the field you want, for example Industry.

  3. Click Add to column.

The fields of a Company profile result cell, with the pointer on the Industry field. An Add to column button to its right is outlined in red.

Loopster adds an Industry column right after the Company profile column, with a value in each of the five rows. A row where Loopster Data found no company stays empty.

How do I find one field in a long list?

  1. Open a result cell.

  2. Type the field's name in the Search box at the top of the panel. For example, typing "founded" narrows the list to Founded Year.

  3. Hover the field and click Add to column.

The new column, here Founded Year, also lands right after Company profile.

Good to know

  • Every field in the panel has an Add to column button when you hover it.

  • The panel also has Edit JSON as text, Re-run this cell and Lock cell (AI won't rewrite it). You do not need them to add a field as a column.

  • The new column's header shows a check mark.

  • The same works on other results that open in this panel. For example, on a Record Found cell from a lookup in another table, hovering Plan and clicking Add to column created a Plan column.
